Right now, we bet you all wish you could control your own mind. No, seriously. Instead of letting thoughts of coronavirus, Tiger King and boredom sink into your mental psyche, we’re sure you all would rather have the ability to stop those thoughts from even happening in the first place.

Singing about this precise idea but in a much more quirky way – like, waaay more quirky – punk rock group Playboy Manbaby constructed a punchy three-minute track titled “I Wish My Brain Was A Computer.”

Teaming up with The Noise to show off the new track and premiere the band’s out-of-this-world music video, as you might expect from a song called “I Wish My Brain Was A Computer,” things definitely get a little out of hand.

Detailing the new clip, frontman Robbie Pfeffer says, “So the basic ‘story’ in this video is that a dude is rollerbladin’ and then cracks his head open and spends time in a weird alien dream world in his brain.”

Okay, maybe “a little out of hand” was an understatement.

“In ‘rock’ music,” Pfeffer adds, “there’s a big emphasis on being cool, serious, macho etc. But I’m none of those things and really have no interest in being any of them. So I picked rollerblading as the activity for this video because I thought it was probably the least cool hobby a person can have. Even playing DnD is a cool move these days. Also, I haven’t rollerbladed since I was like 10, so I thought I would be a lot better and ended up falling A LOT.”
