If you’ve been thinking to yourself, “Hmm, for this being one of the most politically charged times of our generation there sure seems to be an underwhelming amount of punk rock music lately” don’t you worry.

Today we’re excited to bring you the exclusive premiere of Mercy Music’s infectious throwback-sounding single “Tuesday.”

Written about the never-ending fight for chasing your dreams regardless of how many times you get dismissed, the latest from the Las Vegas trio is a rallying cry many of us need to hear right now.

“‘Tuesday’ is really about the general uphill battle one faces trying to do something they believe in and getting back up no matter how many times you’re knocked down in the process,” says vocalist/guitarist Brendan Scholz. “We feel the video showcases this, while simultaneously touching on the current administration’s desire to silence anyone in favor of social justice in our country.”

To check out Mercy Music’s latest endeavor into their self-proclaimed “sad bastard power pop,” be sure to look below. Afterward, make sure to pre-order (here for the European fans) the band’s upcoming third full-length album Nothing in the Dark before it hits stores September 18th via Wiretap Records.
