Calling all nothing, nowhere. and Hotel Books fans! Today is an exciting day as The Noise is premiering a brand new music video from your newest emo/spoken word obsession lifehold.

Based out of Ontario, Canada, lifehold. is a Balance and Composure and La Dispute-influenced artist looking to start over after years of a previous acoustic-based project.

“I had played acoustic music under another name for almost seven years until finally realizing I had grown out of all of the songs and the scene so to speak and needed some change,” explains the young musician. “I took all the current influences I had from bands like La Dispute, Balance and Composure to smaller internet artists like flatsound, nothing, nowhere. and so on and decided to start fresh. My main incentive with this project is to sort of blend the two contemporaries of what is more mainstream alternative music and what seems to be this underground world of artists that can only really be found on sites like SoundCloud or Bandcamp and help break that barrier.”

As for his newest vibed-out track “i think i’ve found myself” and its accompanying music video, lifehold. says, “This video was really my best attempt at putting the words and meaning of the track into visuals. This whole project and song itself have just been about me finally realizing who I am, as well as the things I’d like to put out into the world. The video is just me being myself, roaming around a park five minutes from my house with my friends from high school late at night. The goal was to create something as organic and real as possible and I think the song and video are just that. Really happy with how everything turned out and I really hope people can vibe with it as a whole.”
