Noise Exclusive: I Fight Fail’s “All I Am” Is A Dream Come True For Post-Hardcore Fans

Sorry to break it to you but that dream you had last night of kissing your celebrity crush will probably never come true. Hayley Williams and Harry Styles aren’t walking through that door anytime soon.

However, instead of focusing on a dream you can only half remember anyways, why not put that same energy into reliving real-life memories – you know, like when you actually kissed Sarah Thomas in the 7th grade.

Writing about that struggle to recall beloved authentic experiences as you go through life’s ups and downs, Ohio three-piece I Fight Fail has constructed an elegant post-hardcore track titled “All I Am.”

“‘All I Am’ is about having a very real-feeling intense dream and waking up and forgetting everything,” says vocalist/bassist Andy Potter. “Sometimes when you go through life and have experiences, you end up forgetting some of your favorites moments. It’s the sad realization of that feeling like the dream is more real than waking life.”
