Calling all Emarosa and Slaves fans! Are you ready to discover your new favorite piece of music hailing from Piscataway, New Jersey? Coming from progressive post-hardcore act Visenya, today The Noise is stoked to be premiering the band’s vibey-yet-shreddy new song “Enchiridion.”
Sounding like something Jonny Craig used to sing on back in the day, Visenya’s new single is a soulful guitar-driven track which might just make you feel a little bit nostalgic for the late 2000′s Warped Tour scene.
Speaking about the new track, vocalist James Perry says, "This is the first song to come off of our debut EP, which is a few years in the making at this point, so finally being able to release it just feels awesome. [The song’s] meaning has sort of shifted over time, but this final version’s lyrics carry a sentiment of you being the author of your own story, so make it a good one.”
Perry went on to add, “The lyrics are a reminder to not compare myself to others or use others’ successes as a way to measure my own. We should learn from our mistakes and learn to let things go. As I think we all should, I’m constantly growing as a person by analyzing things in my past and moving forward to turn the next page.“
