Noise Exclusive: Expand Your Minds & Get Strange With Household’s “Superiority Complex” Video

As you guys should be well aware, today is Devil’s Night – also known as Mischief Night, or, in simpler terms, the day before Halloween.

Now, being that the remaining 24 hours of the day is reserved for last minute costume shopping and tons of disobedient behavior, we’d like to share a spooky story to help you all get in the spirit.

Here we go:

It’s the night before Halloween
and all through the streets,
kids are running wild
with hands for their feets.
They’re punching and fighting and running about,
all while their music is playing they shout:
“Suuuperioriiity Cooompleeeex.”

Okay, okay. So maybe that wasn’t as scary as the thought of Kayne West running for president but maybe it still freaked a few of you out. No? None of you? Well, fine. We stole the story anyways from melodic alt/emo outfit Household for their new “Superiority Complex” music video.

Directed by the band’s own Nathanael Olson, the new clip shows the Minnesota act running aimlessly through the woods with pants for t-shirts being chased by a presumably evil rabbit – no seriously, that’s what happens.

We’ll let the band explain: “We decided to stretch outside of the typical music video ideas for this one. Nathanael directed and wrote the ideas for it and it honestly came out in a unique way. At this point, we’re just happy to be able to create art and explore ideas for others to see. There will be lots more material from us in this vein.”
