Who says a two-piece band can’t be just as loud as their five or six-member contemporaries? Channeling their inner ‘68 and Royal Blood and mixing it with a fire-breathing Every Time I Die-inspired behemoth is UK-based band Glitchers.

Today, in preparation for their forthcoming six-track EP Thought Crimes, the self-proclaimed “street punk” duo is teaming up with The Noise to show off their blistering new release one day early.

Providing insight into the rambunctious new record, the thunderous tag-team of Jake Haydn and Sophie Drew said, “In typical Glitchers style the tracks were recorded, mixed and mastered by ourselves at home (and pirate studios in those few weeks we were allowed out). The tracks are a mix of the early songs which we have been playing on the streets, plus some brand new ones written in the last year.”

The two added, “It’s a protest EP at heart that covers many issues like climate change, sexism, politics, ignorance and violence but with an upbeat positive twist. It’s raw. It’s heavy. It’s skiffle punk as fuck!”
