Hundredth Has Reunited With Their Founding Guitarist And Released Two New Tracks To Celebrate

After flying a little under the radar since releasing their 2015 full-length Free, melodic hardcore outfit Hundredth have returned with two brand new singles featuring the return of founding guitarist Alex Blackwell.

Titled as “Dead Weight” and “Victim,” the two new tracks – which are available online via iTunes and Google Play – provide a bit of a different flavor from what fans might be expecting musically. But, according to vocalist Chadwick Johnson, the new sound is something the band is really having fun experimenting with.

“These singles were some of the first songs we demoed when we started jamming with Alex again. They came out naturally and felt like a solid step in a new direction for Hundredth. We decided to do something a little different and flew Sam Pura to South Carolina to produce/engineer the singles. We tracked them at my house in Charleston and then Sam mixed them back at Panda. It was an awesome vibe. We’re glad to have Alex back and we’re stoked on where we’re headed.”
