Get To Skankin’ Through The Bad Times With Less Than Jake’s New Track “Whatever The Weather”

Longtime Warped Tour alumni Less Than Jake know a thing or two about the ups and downs of life in the music business. Once signed to labels as huge as Warner Brothers for their 2003 LP Anthem, the ska outfit has seen the ebbs and flows of the always-changing scene – one that has practically eliminated ska music as a whole, minus a few standouts like Reel Big Fish, Voodoo Glow Skulls and more.

Now in their 25th year as a band, the Gainesville crew is still going strong gearing up to release their brand new EP Sound The Alarm which will be available February 3rd via Pure Noise Records.

In preparation of the upcoming EP, today the ska icons are sharing their second new single titled as “Whatever The Weather” which takes a stab at the dark times life hands you and how you can get past it.

“You can’t always explain life through things like bad luck, being in the wrong place at the wrong time, or fate,” says drummer Vinnie Fiorello.

“The lyrics [for “Whatever The Weather”] tackle that deep down stress and depression and how it tugs you places you never want to go. The thing about those situations, though, is that you can choose to push through, choose to walk a thin line and come out safe and happy on the other end. No matter the storm or dark cloud days you keep your own path.”
