Sum 41′s New Music Video Might Just Consume Your Life For The Next Few Days

Well now, talk about a way to make a statement. Not only have pop-punk icons Sum 41 returned with a total ripper in “Fake My Own Death,” but they’ve also paired it with a pretty gnarly music video too.

Taking their opportunity to poke fun at where the world is today compared to when they were last making music in 2011, the new clip features Kim Kardashian, Bill Cosby, Angry Birds, Kanye West, Bernie Sanders, Shia Lebouf, Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump and more as they all plot against the band in very strange and random ways. Pretty much, the new clip is a much more computer animated version of the band’s previously released cameo-filled video for “The Hell Song” – which makes sense since both were directed Marc Klasfeld.

As for the song itself, “Fake My Own Death” is a riff-heavy, no-holds-barred single serving as a big “fuck you” to anybody doubting the band’s comeback.

To see what we mean about both the track and the video, be sure to look below. Afterwards, pre-orders for Sum 41′s new album 13 Voices can be found here.
