See August Burns Red’s “Bones” Make An Appearance As A Torture Device In ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’

If you’ve ever wondered how the public perceives hard-hitting music from the likes of August Burns Red, well, according to NCIS: LA, it’s music made for torturing people.

That’s right. On a recent episode of the CBS crime drama starring Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J, two characters being held as prisoners were subjected to the “torturous” sounds of August Burns Red’s melodic metalcore track “Bones.”

Commenting on the perplexing pairing, guitarist JB Brubaker tweeted, “Just watched an episode of NCIS: LA where my band’s music is used to blast the ears of prisoners as a means of auditory torture, so yeah, feeling pretty good about myself right now.”
