Look, we probably don’t need to tell you this but life can be a little, well, imperfect at times. Despite all the happy-go-lucky Instagram photos you scroll through on a daily basis, life just isn’t that storybook all the time.

Thankfully for us, that’s okay. People aren’t meant to live a foolproof life. You know why? Because people aren’t perfect either. But don’t worry because according to seasoned punk rock act Red City Radio (and, you know, countless self-help books), that’s okay too!

Shining a light on this idea, Red City Radio has constructed a brand new track titled “Love A Liar” that’s all about being okay with your own imperfections.

“We all bring baggage into relationships, whether they’re romantic in nature or otherwise,” explains frontman/guitarist Garrett Dale. “We all have that underlying feeling that ‘I’m not enough’ or ‘I’m no good’ that shapes our interactions with other humans. This song really embodies the idea that while we all feel inadequate, while we’re all imperfect, we’re just going to love our way through this and it’s all going to be OK.”
