Kublai Khan Debut Punishing Second Single “Truest Love”

Just when you thought you had finally recovered from Kublai Khan’s bruising lead single “Self-Destruct,” the Texas noisemakers have returned with a brand new track.

Titled “The Truest Love,” Kublai Khan’s second song from their upcoming album Absolute dives into the psyche of single-parent homes.

“‘The Truest Love’ is a statement surrounding the cultural norm of the single-parent household,” says frontman Matt Honeycutt. “[The song] challenges and questions what it means to be a man and still abandon a family you took part in creating. We hope it provokes thought and unfiltered conversation.“

To check out the new head-pounding track, be sure to look below. Afterward, make sure to pre-order Absolute before it hits stores October 4th via Rise Records.
