Getting everyone in the spirit for next month’s annual Christmas Burns Red live stream event, metalcore maestros August Burns Red have just dropped an epic cover of a Christmas classic.
Continuing where they left off with 2018′s Winter Wilderness EP, which saw them tackle holiday hits such as “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year,” “Last Christmas” and the Home Alone theme song, August Burns Red is back with a new rippin’ rendition of the Mariah Carey smash “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Commenting on their new instrumental version, guitarist JB Brubaker says, “This year, we decided to take a crack at the legendary Mariah Carey song ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You.’ This turned out to be one of the most fun holiday songs we’ve ever done and a real head spinner for me on the guitar leads.”
“I’m proud of how it came out,” he adds, “and think it will be a staple for people looking for a little more metal in their holiday playlists.”
