To help kick off their massive US tour with Silent Planet, Invent, Animate and Greyhaven, metalcore rising stars Currents have just premiered a new bombshell of a track.
Dubbed “Second Skin,” Currents’ new standalone single is a surefire pit-starter that will 100% get your head banging and heart rate moving.
As for the lyrics behind the band’s new song, vocalist Brian Wille commented: “‘Second Skin’ is about losing yourself to the world around you. We all have different ‘faces’ we put on throughout our daily lives to adapt to the expectations of the people around us; but what happens when we set aside our own emotions, opinions & aspirations for too long? You step back one day and realize you’ve become unrecognizable; you’ve spent so much time cycling through different faces that you’ve lost sight of your own identity.”
