Can’t Swim Share New Single “Who’s Happy?” From Upcoming Experimental EP ‘Someone Who Isn’t Me’

Great news Can’t Swim fans! Fresh off releasing their surprise stripped-down EP When The Dust Settles earlier this year, the New Jersey act is back with another new release.

Titled Someone Who Isn’t Me, the Pure Noise signees will be releasing their brand new five-track EP December 4th.

Giving fans a sample of what’s to come, today, the band has also premiered their mellow new single called “Who’s Happy?”

Commenting on the track, frontman Christopher LoPorto shares, “‘Who’s Happy?’ is a song I have had a demo of for a while now but got totally reworked once in the studio. Though drastically different sonically than our previous releases, in my opinion, this song sounds the most Can’t Swim out of the five.”

LoPorto adds, “The programming/soundscape in the verses is my favorite on the EP, I think it complements what the song is about in a way we’ve never accomplished before. Finding a balance between the somber lyrics and upbeat moody music was a challenge, but I think that contrast is what makes the song.”
