As if heading out on tour with scene staples Taking Back Sunday wasn’t a big enough way to wrap up their 2016, pop-punk/emo up-and-comers You Blew It! have just dropped the motherload of announcements getting fans pretty pumped for the next upcoming months.

First off, the Orlando outfit has revealed that their next release – titled as Abendrot (which is German for sunset, afterglow or simply a transition) – will be released November 11 via their new home Triple Crown Records.

Secondly, along with the new album and label news, the band just put out their new non-pop-punk sounding single “Autotheology” which, if you’re a fan of Brand New, you’re going to completely drool over.

“We just want it to be known right out of the gate that we’re changing gears a little bit and going in a different direction,” says singer/guitarist Tanner Jones regarding the band’s style change. “I feel like of all the songs on the record, [“Autotheology”] is more obvious. It’s our big thing.”

Jones continued to touch on the new music saying, “At some point you start to become less pleased with songs you wrote for basements and living rooms. It feels more natural and a little more fun to bring things down a bit and to try and make more of an art out of it rather than just playing so you can be heard above the blown PA in your friend’s basement.”
