Continuing his whirlwind past few months which include releasing a chart-topping LP, countless award show and late night appearances, and dropping his pop-punk musical Downfalls High, the one and only Machine Gun Kelly hit the Saturday Night Live stage this past weekend.
Starting off with an energetic performance of “My Ex’s Best Friend,” the multi-talented musician capped off the night with a lights out rendition of “lonley” – no, literally.
Posting about the accidental production for “Lonely,” MGK said, “Right before the camera came on, they told me all of our lighting board and production set up had crashed so all we had was a spotlight and the music.”
“It worked out even better this way,” he said. “Thanks to everyone who watched.”
