No Big Deal, Mark Hoppus And Alex Gaskarth Made A New Side Project Together

Well holy shit, everyone! Two of pop-punks biggest names have joined forces to create a brand new super duo named Simple Creatures.

Who are the names you ask? Well if you read the title you’d know by now but it’s Blink-182′s Mark Hoppus and All Time Low’s Alex Gaskarth – we’ll give you a moment to freak out.

Taking to their socials to make the announcement, Gaskarth first shared his excitement saying: “Hey everybody! You might be wondering just what in the hell is going on with my socials right now. Well, my good friend [Mark Hoppus] and I have been quietly making music together for a little while now and we’re finally ready to share it with ya. We’re calling this baby [Simple Creatures] and we’d like to invite you to join us for the ride.”

As for Hoppus, he shared a similar sentiment stating: “So stoked to finally share [Simple Creatures] with the world! Alex and I have been working on this new band for a while and our first single ‘Drug’ is available everywhere Thursday [at] midnight, but you can hear it at SimpleCreaturesMusic dot com right now. EP1 coming in March! Join us, won’t you?”

While we’d love to go into detail about the duo’s new song and add how excited we are for this project, we’ll just go ahead and skip over that to let you dive right into “Drug.” To check out the band’s infectious lead single, be sure to look below. For from Simple Creatures, head here.
