Kurt Travis (A Lot Like Birds, Ex- Dance Gavin Dance) Streams New Solo Single “Stay Please”

Kurt Travis is a man of many devices. When he’s not busy co-fronting his experimental, prog-ey post-hardcore outfit A Lot Like Birds, he tends to put most of his free time into his newly formed label, Esque Records.

Then, when Travis is not busy being a business man and signing impressive artists like Paul Travis (no relation, we think?), the former Dance Gavin Dance vocalist is in the recording booth concocting catchy indie-pop jams – case in point: Travis’ latest release “Stay Please.”

“‘Stay Please’ was originally supposed to be off my previous full-length release and has a hint of that vibe in some places,” explains Kurt. “I’m very excited to be showcasing this [split EP with Paul Travis]. I’m in love with Paul Travis’ work on this collaboration and am eager to release his full length album in the months to come!“
