Hear Josh Scogin Talk New ‘68 Music, Touring With The Fall Of Troy And The Potential For A The Chariot Reunion

Saturday on idobi Radio, we’re pleased to announce we’ll be airing our exclusive interview with ‘68 guitarist/vocalist Josh Scogin.

Talking with the scene veteran about when we might get to hear some new ‘68 music (since we’ve practically worn out our In Humor And Sadness record), the former Chariot frontman revealed that it could be pretty soon actually.

“We are hoping for a new record before the end of the year,” he explained. “We were going to record at this one point and we got an offer to [play] Australia with Bring Me The Horizon so we were just like, ‘Cool, we’ll record at another time.’ But because of that we recorded with Matt Goldman, which is a good friend of mine.”

Scogin continued to add, “[Because of our schedule] we’ve actually been popping in whenever he’s been free and we’ve been free – which isn’t much – but we got probably six songs actually recorded.”

To hear Josh discuss more about new ‘68 music as well as his thoughts on a The Chariot reunion, be sure to tune into idobi.com/radio from 4-5pm PST // 7-8pm EST this Saturday.

Until then, make sure to check out ‘68′s recently released documentary showcasing the recording process for their debut album In Humor And Sadness below. Afterwards, make sure to pick up tickets to see the duo live alongside The Fall Of Troy here.
