Gnarwolves Stream Second New Track From Forthcoming EP

After announcing the release of their upcoming EP Adolescence and hitting us with their hardcore-influenced track “The Waiting Line,” UK skate punks Gnarwolves have returned to unleash a new nonconformist single titled, “Daydreamer.”

When asked about the new single, vocalist/guitarist Thom Weeks told Noisey – who originally premiered the track – that the idea behind the song centers around living an abnormal life in the eyes of so many people.

“This song is about the struggle to come to terms with a society that expects you to take a certain path,” Weeks explained. “Get a job, buy a house, have kids. We’re constantly told what is expected of us and what it means to achieve and be successful.

The frontman continued to add, “The song deals with the feelings of isolation and anxiety that come with not fitting in with mainstream thought and not having the desires we’re told we’re supposed to have. Sonically, it’s a punch in the face and Max and Charlie absolutely smash the rhythm section on the outro.”
