Fall Out Boy’s Andy Hurley Reveals Details For New EP With The Damned Things

Stop the presses! While recently on the 100 Words Or Less podcast – which seems to be on a roll breaking news with drummers – Fall Out Boy’s Andy Hurley revealed there may be new music coming from his former supergroup The Damned Things.

That’s right, The Damned Things – aka the hard rock conglomerate featuring Hurley along with Every Time I Die‘s Keith Buckley, Anthrax‘s Scott Ian, Fall Out Boy‘s Joe Trohman, Volbeat‘s Rob Caggiano and Josh Newton (Shiner, ex-Every Time I Die) – may have new music in the works.

“I recorded five songs for an EP with The Damned Things,” explained Hurley. “I don’t think we’ll be playing, Anthrax is still touring on their last record. ETID just put out their new record, uh, who else? Josh Newton I think has been playing lately. He tech’d for Joe for awhile, I’m not sure if he’ll be back when we’re back. So you know, that’s all over the place.”

Well, there you have it. Somewhere there is a five-track EP currently in the works from the hard rock supergroup we all need a little bit more of come 2017.
