The Last Of Us Part 2

My favorite video game of 2020, my opinion is that it’s one of the greatest video games ever made. It’s the perfect follow up to a phenomenal first game - a true masterpiece in storytelling. There are things that I felt playing this game that no other game has made me feel.

The Killers - Imploding the Mirage

It’s a lot to ask of a band that’s been around for 19 years to continue to put out top-notch music. The Killers do just that with this album. It’s big, grand, and just as marvelous as anything else the band has done before.

The Midnight - Monsters

One of my favorite bands The Midnight released a new record called Monsters. Amazing spin on the 80s pop genre. I never liked 80s pop but the vibes that this record puts out are great. Makes a guy like myself wonder if I missed something in those classic tracks from the neon spandex era.

Machine Gun Kelly - Tickets To My Downfall

So much respect to this guy for putting out a rock record. I know there will be a lot of fans split on either side of this fence but these songs are super catchy and for those die hard pop-punk fans you gotta see this as a win-win for the genre.

All Time Low - “Monsters”

This song has such a catchy chorus and I really love how the beat pulls you along through the song. I don’t really have anything else to say, it’s just a good song.

Billy Strings - “Watch It Fall”

This song resonates so much with what’s going on in the world right now and the music really helps carry the message. Billy Strings has really set himself apart from his contemporaries with his latest release.

Nick Lutsko - “Chrissy Teigen Unfollowed Me On Twitter”

Even though this is a joke song, I still find myself going back to it just because of how catchy it is. You won’t find this on Spotify but a quick YouTube search will get you there.

Creeper - “Cyanide”

Love the vibe of this song. The newest album is very eclectic musically, which I personally love seeing from artists, and really shows the musicianship of the band.

Machine Gun Kelly - Tickets to My Downfall

I love that MGK went outside of his own box and created a pop-punk record that is really special. Brings me back to when I was a teenager cutting my parents grass listening to music like this and wishing I was in a band.

FIFA 21

I’ve been a massive fan for a very long time. My wife will even tell you that I play every single night, so to say I am excited about this release is an understatement. The realism and playability gets better every year and I am always finding new music through the game as well.

PUP - “Rot”

I love this band. They are always releasing music with such cool guitar parts and such interesting lyrics. They always have a good blend of chaotic energy and catchy melodies. This song is a great example of this, as well as having some awesome riffs.

Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds - “A Dream Is All I Need To Get By”

Noel Gallagher has always been a huge inspiration for me. I’ve enjoyed his stuff after Oasis and this is just a continuation of that. One thing I love about this song is how much it reminds me of late 80’s and early 90’s British rock, pretty much what influenced Oasis. It has such a great vibe and is super catchy.
