The Story So Far Release Retro Fun-Filled Skate Video For “Heavy Gloom”

Off their latest self-titled record, pop-punk heavyweights The Story So Far have released a brand new music video for their track “Heavy Gloom.”

Known more for the seriousness of the lyrical content, The Story So Far took a completely different route for their “Heavy Gloom” video as each member of the band played either a rebellious skate punk or stuck-up security officer in a retro VHS-friendly clip.

“It has been a while since we have released a music video but the wait is over,” the band wrote on their website. “In our new video for ‘Heavy Gloom’ a group of skateboarding hoodlums clash with a couple of hard-nosed, mustached security officers.”

The Bay Area outfit continued to add, from the point of view of Officer Doug H. Nutt (AKA guitarist Will Levy), “Security Chief Rich Buckley & myself, Security Officer Nutt, came across these three horrid punks vandalizing our property. Following an on foot pursuit, we set the precedent for what happens when you mess with security.”
