Great news Issues fans! Today the longtime metalcore outfit has finally revealed info regarding their first new album since 2016′s Headspace and they have also announced when you can hear some of their new music live!
In support of their brand new 13-track album Beautiful Oblivion – due out October 4th via Rise Records – Tyler Carter and company will be hitting the road starting early November.
Presented by The Noise, Issues’ Beautiful Oblivion tour will also feature Polyphia, Lil Aaron and Sleep Token. The 34-date trek will start November 7th in Oklahoma City and conclude December 15th at House Of Blues Orlando.
In addition to the tour and album news, Issues have also shared their second lead single “Drink About It.” Discussing the follow-up to “Tapping Out,” Carter said, “‘Drink About It’ is something I feel everyone can relate to. The song, quite frankly, is about a cheater being found out by their unfortunate partner. The idea is this: ‘I think you know… you know something… how much do you know…? I’m just gonna let them sweat it out a little bit.’ But that play on words is also saying, 'You’re all I drink about’ and at this point, I wanna sweat you out of my system.“
