Whether you realize it or not, unfortunately, most of you reading this have had to experience some sort of anxiety in your life. Be it mild or severe cases, anxiety is something that has become a serious issue in our country as it affects over 40 million people in the US alone.

Doing their part to help bring awareness to the stress-born condition, Los Angeles-based outfit New Language have put together a fiery new song all about the struggles and hardships of dealing with anxiety titled “Fade Away.”

“’Fade Away’ is a song about anxiety, the overwhelming feeling of helplessness that comes along with it and introspection,” explains vocalist/guitarist Tyler Demorest. “People are growing up with their lives under constant judgment and scrutiny from themselves and the outside world. I feel like we live in a moment of heightened anxiety across the board. We’re immersed in tech that is supposed to bring us joy, connection and make our lives easier - but instead, that tech brings about constant comparison and anxiety.”

“More often than not, that feeling of anxiety doesn’t pan out to be true,” Demorest adds, “but rather it’s your mind and imagination running wild. Anxiety is a liar and ‘Fade Away’ is our exploration of going through it.”
