Making a name for yourself in the music scene is no easy task. Just ask the thousands of unsigned acts waiting for their big break to come.

Hoping to highlight the stress and uncertainty most emerging artists face on a daily basis, Florida act Brave New World have constructed an honest and open new track titled “Sour Honey.”

Detailing the moving post-hardcore single taken from their upcoming EP Blossom, vocalist Christopher Eubanks says, “‘Sour Honey’ is about the struggle of being in a band in a small scene trying to break into bigger markets. It’s about losing yourself in that process and how there are a lot of repercussions and loss that can come with the decision to focus so heavily on your passions.”

To check out the candid new song, be sure to watch the band’s music video starring former Palisades bassist Brandon Sidney directed by Justin Bernardez below. For more from Brave New World, head here.
