Well damn, talk about potential tour of the year! In a pretty stunning move, pop-punk-turned-mostly-pop outfit Fall Out Boy are seemingly going back to their roots with their latest tour announcement.

For part two of their M A N I A tour, the band will be taking out Machine Gun Kelly and, on select dates (this is where it gets wild), Every Time I Die, Gym Class Heroes, State Champs, Against The Current, L.I.F.T., and nothing, nowhere.

Let us repeat ourselves here: hardcore heroes Every Time I Die and the newly reunited Gym Class Heroes WILL BE OPENING UP FOR FALL OUT BOY!

Honestly, if we had a million guesses as to who would be opening up for Fall Out Boy in 2018 to support their latest album, we’re not sure if we could have come up with those names. So to that, we say, bravo Fall Out Boy.

(And for those still scratching their heads about the Fall Out Boy and Every Time I Die connection, you the remember The Damned Things, right? You know, the supergroup with Keith Buckley, Andy Hurley, Joe Trohman, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano?)

To check out tour dates, which includes Fall Out Boy’s hometown show with Rise Against at Wrigley Field, be sure to look below. Pre-sale tickets and VIP packages will go on sale January 22nd at 10am local time with $1 from every ticket sold going to the Fall Out Boy Fund benefiting charities throughout Chicago.
