Like Moths To Flames Debut ‘No Eternity In Gold’ B-Sides “Basilisk” and “Inherit The Tragedy”

Fresh off last year’s punishing release of No Eternity In Gold, longtime metalcore act Like Moths To Flames has just shared two brand new tracks.

Taken from the writing and recording process for their latest album, the band’s newest songs give classic Like Moths To Flames vibes with hard-hitting musicianship, fiery vocals, and sweeping hooks.

Commenting on the tracks, frontman Chris Roetter says, “Both ‘Basilisk’ and ‘Inherit The Tragedy’ are songs that I was super torn on cutting from the record. ‘Basilisk’ covers the experience of being so rooted in your own problems that you’re detached from what’s happening around you.”

“I think we all tend to get stuck in letting our struggles become our identity,” he adds. “‘Inherit the Tragedy’ follows the more classic themes that [the] band has offered out in the past. We’ve never been a stranger to writing songs focused on cutting the chord from someone who becomes dead weight.”
