Learn To Be In The Now With Basement’s Infectious New Single “Be Here Now”

With less than two weeks to go until alt-emo rockers Basement drop their highly anticipated forthcoming LP Beside Myself, the UK outfit has decided to help hold fans over by dropping yet another new single.

Titled as “Be Here Now,” Basement’s latest – according to vocalist Andrew Fisher – is all about staying in the moment and appreciating what you have.

“’Be Here Now’ is about how hard I find it to feel content with what I’m doing, when I’m doing it,” says Fisher. “I over-romanticize the past and the future, remembering what has been and looking forward to what will be, in a completely irrational and unfair way. I struggle to enjoy what I’m currently doing because I’m comparing it to a time in my past when I was ‘truly’ happy, or thinking about being somewhere else in the future when I believe I will be way happier than now.”
