Knuckle Puck Premiere “True Contrite” Video, Announce Headlining Tour With Seaway

Fresh off their summer-long stint on the Vans Warped Tour, budding pop-punk superstars Knuckle Puck have just dropped their brand new, Polaroid-filled video for “True Contrite.”

When asked about the new clip, guitarist Kevin Maida told Billboard (who premiered the video) that the process was long but certainty worth it.

“The making of the ‘True Contrite’ music video was one of the most painstaking, rewarding experiences ever,” explained Maida. “We basically had to shoot two music videos, one with the walls blank, then manually tape all the Polaroids to the wall, and then shoot everything again with all the Polaroids on the wall. It took a long time, but the video came out perfect.”

In addition to the new music video, Knuckle Puck have also announced that they’ll be hitting the road this fall on their first ever headlining tour. Support for the 32-date run will include Warped Tour 2015 participants Seaway along with Sorority Noise and Head North.

Weighing in on the tour, Maida told Billboard that Knuckle Puck’s decision to include Seaway was a “no-brainer.”

“Our first tour ever was with Seaway,” said Maida. “So it only seemed right to put some of our greatest friends on our first headline tour.”

The young guitarist continued to add, “Head North and Sorority Noise are some of our favorite current bands and those bands both consist of truly genuine people. It’s going to be a great fall.“
