If You Don’t Know, Now You Know: Marmozets

Young and full of angst is one hell of a way to live. However, when it comes to the youthful tandem of the three MacIntyre siblings and the two Bottomley brothers, it’s just the way it goes when you make the kind of music Marmozets makes.

Creating a sonic concoction of sugar and spice mixed with a dash of hardcore, Marmozets’ chaotic yet playful sound is like nothing you’ve heard before. Fusing elements of pop rock and blending it with the intensity of punk, this act from across the pond offers a unique touch on their style of self-proclaimed “rawkous alternative math energy.”

Gaining notoriety on this year’s Van’s Warped tour from fans in attendance as well as other musicians on the bill like Every Time I Die’s Keith and Jordan Buckley, it’s no doubt that after your first listen to tracks like “Good Days” or “Move Shake Hide,” you’ll be put on notice as well.

Excited to announce they’ll be coming back to the states this fall with Issues and I Killed the Prom Queen on the Journeys Noise Tour, Marmozets will certainty be energizing crowds and turning spectators into fans.

If you want to hear more from these boisterous trailblazers, their debut full-length The Weird and Wonderful Marmozets hits stores September 30 on Roadrunner Records.
