ICYMI: Asking Alexandria Share Acoustic Version Of “Someone, Somewhere” For Memorial Day

Calling all Asking Alexandria fans! To help celebrate Memorial Day yesterday, the UK metalcore outfit premiered a brand new acoustic rendition of their Reckless And Relentless track “Someone, Somewhere.”

When asked about the updated version of their 2011 song and what it means to him, vocalist Danny Worsnop said:

“Earlier this year Ben [Bruce, guitarist] and I remade a song about the hardships of being away from our loved ones on tour, to dedicate and show our appreciation to the incredible service men and women, active, veteran, and lost, around the world.

Then, we flew over to Okinawa to spend some time with the troops stationed there and put on a show. The whole trip was filmed by Sanjay Parikh, and he pieced it all together into this video.

Thank you to all of you out there currently serving. Keep fighting the good fight and come back home safe. Thank you to our veterans, for your blood, your sweat, and your tears that allow us the freedoms and security that we often take for granted.

And most of all, thank you to all of the fallen [heroes], who made the ultimate sacrifice for this country, and the missions of strangers within it. Today is their day. Take time to remember and honor them.”
