Hundredth Share New Album Details, Reveal Eye-Opening Transformation With New Single “Neurotic”

Gearing up for another summer out on the Vans Warped Tour, Myrtle Beach four-piece Hundredth have just dropped a brand new single titled “Neurotic.”

Shared via Hopeless Records, Hundredth’s newest release is a pretty eye-opening departure from the band’s hardcore roots. Not completely coming out of left field with their new, shoe-gazy vibe, Hundredth prepped fans for this transformation by clearing their Instagram of any photos before posting promo for their upcoming album Rare, out June 16 via Hopeless.

In regards to the new record, Hundredth vocalist Chadwick Johnson touched on the upcoming release saying, “It’s gonna probably be a pretty big departure from our last record, which is intentional because we don’t want to get caught in the same place ever. We have our original guitar player Alex [Blackwell] back with us now, so I think the energy’s just kind of moving in a different direction—a completely different direction. So far, all the demos are different from anything we’ve ever done, which is scary, but it also feels good."
