Hear Sylar’s Jayden Panesso Talk The Chaos Tour, ‘Help!’, Nu-Metal and More On Idobi Radio

This Saturday on idobi Radio, we’re excited to announce we’ll be airing our exclusive interview with Sylar frontman Jayden Panesso.

Talking with the young Queens, New York vocalist about the band’s new album Help! and the pressure behind switching up their metalcore style to a more nu-metal approach, Panesso let us know he and his bandmates were definitely feeling some anxiety during the writing and recording process.

“You have no idea,” says Panesso. “It happens so often where a band changes their sound and like all the sudden everyone hates it or whatever. It was crazy, we just went into the studio like, ‘Yo, let’s vibe. Let’s just vibe and write something good.’ We never sat in the studio – we did it with Eric Ron [Attila, Issues, Palisades], he’s the man – and never once did we sit there honestly being like ‘You know what? We don’t think the kids are gonna like this.’ It was honestly just straight vibes.”

To hear Panesso dive deeper into his band’s new album as well as what it’s like to tour with Attila, Chelsea Grin and Emmure on the Chaos Tour, be sure to tune into idobi.com/radio from 4-5pm PST // 7-8pm EST this Saturday.

Until then, make sure to check out Syalr’s latest video for “Assume” below and pick up tickets to see the band our on tour here.
