With less than a few weeks to go until they drop their potential album of the year nominee Make The Best Of It, Baltimore rock outfit Have Mercy has just shared their second new single titled “Good Christain Man.”
After pretty much blowing everybody away with their previously released track “Coexist,” Have Mercy has really outdone themselves this time around with their powerful new song centered around the faith of singer/guitarist Brian Swindle.
“I grew up in a Catholic family,” Swindle explains. “I’ve always believed faith is a beautiful thing but never thought religion was for me. This [song] is mainly about me not being able to openly talk about these things with my family. Also, over analyzing things and habits that under the assumption that if I do them then something bad will happen. The good old Catholic way.”
