ESPN Got a Taste of the Pop-Punk Life via Hit The Lights

Pop-punk mainstays Hit The Lights have just done the presumably unthinkable and dropped a brand new music video for their track “Life on the Bottom” on ESPN.

Yep, that’s right: Pure Noise Records’ own Hit The Lights had their new video featuring boxing newcomer Ismael Villarreal premiere on the worldwide leader in sports aka ESPN.com.

The video, which was directed by Kyle Thrash (Modern Baseball, We Are The In CrowdTiny Moving Parts), tells the story of the young 17-year-old boxer Villarreal as he prepares for his very first fight at the Golden Gloves Tournament in Brooklyn, NY.

While it might seem a bit odd to have ESPN feature something that’s non-Top 40 radio, they actually had UK rock outfit Blitz Kids stop by their Bristol, Connecticut office a couple weeks back
