Bury Tomorrow Debut Creepy, Semi-Cartoon Video For “Last Light”

In anticipation of their forthcoming album Earthbound – which hits stores  January 29 via Nuclear Blast – UK metalcore act Bury Tomorrow has released a nightmarish new video for their latest single “Last Light.”

Filmed in half-cartoon, half-live action (yes, like Space Jam and Who Framed Roger Rabbit), the creative clip follows a young, recently deceased woman as she escapes from terrifying death creatures in search of her significant other.

In regards to the new track, frontman Dani Winter-Bates explains the meaning behind it stating:

“Last Light’ is about the acceptance of death, the video uses animation which is something we’ve never done and it’s turned out awesome… It can be taken two ways – either the loss of sanity whilst grieving for a loved one or the literal descent into the afterlife.”
