Yes, this is real life. No, you are not dreaming. For the first time in what feels like forever (2016), Tom Delonge has released new music with his space-driven outfit Angels & Airwaves.
After teasing fans online for the past couple days, Delonge and company have officially returned with a dancy new single titled “Rebel Girl.”
Speaking about the track, Delonge says: “‘Rebel Girl’ is a space-age love song that combines my enduring obsession for new wave, pop punk and anthemic rock and roll music. As some of you might’ve heard, I recently took a brief minute to start up an aerospace company, so you never know – I may play this song from a satellite deep in space, beamed toward everyone’s house viciously on repeat.”
As if a new Angel & Airwaves song wasn’t exciting enough, the band has also announced that along with signing to Rise Records they will also be hitting the road later this year for a full US tour. Starting August 4th in Phoenix, AZ, Angel & Airwaves’ highly anticipated headlining tour will be the band’s first in over six years.
